1. What inspired you to become a designer? What has your journey been like?
I started writing the blog because I was interested in design and mixing patterns with colors and textures. I love to pair vintage finds with newer pieces to create a unique, one-of-a-kind look. The blogging and design journey has been one full of exciting opportunities I never would have imagined when I began.
2. How would you describe your design aesthetic?
I typically trend toward industrial farmhouse style. I love repurposing items in the home.
3. What was your favorite projects? Why?
One of my favorite projects in my home has been my recipe wall.
Also, I enjoyed creating a wall made entirely out of shutters.
Or an easy DIY, like adding door molding to your home.
4. What’s your favorite trend right now?
I love the idea of adding architecture to a home. Projects like a shiplap wall or over-sized floor moldings or even ceiling medallions are great DIY projects. It’s an easy way to update a builder home into something special and one of a kind.
